Plaid Cymru Gwynedd Candidates Introduced
A strong team of 51 Plaid Cymru Gwynedd candidates have been presented to stand in Gwynedd Council’s Election on 5 of May. Nearly half (22) are female candidates. Following the Boundary Commission’s ward reforms, 69 seats are up for grabs in Gwynedd during this current election – down from 75.

When will Welsh Government ensure justice for Gwynedd residents?
Gwynedd residents are no further forward six years since a Welsh Government fuel poverty scheme caused damage to their homes leaving them damp, unsightly and in need of repairs.
Some Deiniolen, Dinorwig, Clwt y Bont and Fachwen residents living in private houses have been left out of pocket and struggling to carry out remedial work.

Gwynedd's residents now recycle 65.9% of its waste, slightly higher than the all-Wales 2020-2021 recycling figure of 65.4%. This means a saving of £4 million to Gwynedd taxpayers every year ensuring that 17,000 tonnes of carbon emissions is not omitted to the atmosphere.
